I have an RCA RT 2400 which requires two press of the power button to turn the receiver off. I need to know how to program a Radio Shack 15-1994 to turn the receiver off. I have the JP1 cable and many of the programs to use with it.
Thanks

You may need to check (by learning and decoding signals) whether two presses of the original power key sends the same signal twice, or whether that remote sends a different signal for the second press.
If it is just the same signal twice, you may want to use a DSM (Device specific macro) to program that on your 15-1994. That is a special protocol and a keymove that either invoke a macro or directly act like a macro (depending on the version). That lets you program the power key as a macro in one device mode without making it a macro in other device modes. |
