My guess is that the J2 spot is there for a modem or an RF puck (I'd need to follow the traces to know for sure), I don't think it's any sort of JP1 connector.
However, I notice that there is an EEPROM onboard, which is very good news. That means you can almost certainly fashion a JP1 connector for this remote if you were to chose to do so.
You would need to use the many instruction sheets that have been written up for other non-JP1 remotes, such as the REM400, URC-7200, etc as a guide. _________________ Rob
