RCA 810 remote setup codes and EFCs

Each manual that I have for OEM universal remotes (i.e. satelite and TV programmable OEM remotes) have different/unique setup codes for each brand of product. Are UEIC setup codes for JP1 remotes standardized or are they also remote specific?

The setup code 0017 from the remotes' manual works the
Sony 32" TV. I believe that there may be an offset value specific to the CRCU810 setup codes that will allow me to locate remaining EFCs on Devices 4. Where can I locate the offset, and will it help? I understand that I may learn each key to find their EFC but a list would be reassuring.

The offset on the RCU810 is 17. Your 0017 code is really 0000.

The RCU810 uses an offset of 17 for setup codes as compare to other UEI remotes. So, instead of 17, you want 0. See http://www.hifi-remote.com/cgi-bin2/ueic.cgi?TV_0000
