My play and FF keys are getting really hard to make good contact.. gotta push hard to make then activate.
Is this fixable? Do I need to retire this one and buy new? What's the best programmable remote available these days?
And finally, if I change to a new remote can I simply upload my current settings to this new remote ?
Thanks for a great Forum !

Ok, I just placed an order.
Any tips on using this product?
Thanks again!

I've not used it myself yet, but I'm sure there are instructions included. Basically, you will be painting some of the solution on the base of the worn out buttons, then letting it dry. Once it's dry, the worn out buttons should work again. _________________ Rob

I don't remember who suggested it, but when my select button on
Replay/ShowStopper remote started flaking out, I cleaned the board
contact with alcohol and stuck some folded aluminum foil beneath the
rubber pad. Works great again. Hardest part was disassembling the
remote. |

Well I tryed the paint on stuff and was disappointed. Maybe I didn't put in on thick enough but it just didn't get the results I expected. I want to be able to push a button once, lightly, and have it work.
Time to find a new remote...
