I use a video distribution system to send a Tivo, SA8000 DVR, DVD, HTPC and VCR to multiple TVs (and IR back to the head end). What I would like to do is set up a dlkp that would allow me to control every TV with the one remote. What I have in mind is a long press on the TV button would toggle what TV is controlled. Therefore I could have several remotes in the house - all of which could control any tv (ease of programming) by a key press. Assume a RS 15-2116
Several Questions:
1) is this possible?
2) I currently use toad/tog, ldkp and extender2 to do some fancy things with the main home theater TV. How would that be affected by also trying to add control of multiple TVs through a dlkp?
3) should I just set up a separate remote control file for upstairs?
Please post any input or ideas. I know that I am not the only one to consider such a setup... _________________ Dustin

Wouldn't it be easier to use the Device-Multiplexor special protocol so you can more acurately chose which TV you want to control? You could possibly put key moves on the shifted numeric buttons to select TV1, TV2, TV3, etc.
