Thanks Rob. I missed that code search section. This RCA receiver is pretty new. Telus Communications in Calgary has started this IPTV service. I don't know if any other Telco's are using these receivers.

It really doesn't matter how new the device is because you have both the original remote and a JP1 learning remote, that's all you need to create an upgrade.

Thanks again Rob. It looks like I'll have to load a upgrade from scratch, I can't find a receiver other than Sat boxes. Anyway I'm getting the system installed on Jun 25, I'll try it then.

If this isn't a SAT box, what is it?

I think it's a STB for video on demand through DSL.

A-ha, yet another new type of device. Now we have to figure out which folder to put the upgrades in! :)

Rob this is a DSL receiver that Telus is supplying along with my high speed DSL internet. It's feed a by a RJ-45 jack. It's basically a computer with outputs to my TV. I can even surf the web with it and Jon it has VOD.

Hey Mike, you're the first JP1-er to surface with one of these devices, so it's up to you to create a nice complete upgrade for it. When you're done, please load it to the Misc folder.

Once we've had a chance to look at the upgrade you post, we might be able to suggest discrete codes and other extra functions that you can test out to see if they work.

Gee your putting the Newbie on the spot. All I've done is some simple key moves on my StarChoice sat system, but I'm up to it.
