Change TV code on Toshiba TC-90047?

Found a Toshiba TC-90047 remote at a garage sale and I thought it was a universal remote. Sorta but not quite as you all know.
I have an early 90s Zenith 32" TV I'd like to control with this unit but I can't figure out how (or if) you can program the TV code.
If the answer is "Can't get there from here", then here's my second question. I have said Zenith TV, two Sony VCRs (one VHS, one beta - each with a different ID code) and a Sony multidisc DVD player. What remote would you recommend buying? I need something that will control the two VCRs seperately and have change disc functions on the DVD.
