Does anyone here happen to have a Durabrand TV, probably from Walmart? If so, did you find a regular setup code that works it or did you create one?

I'm trying to help someone who's lost their remote for their 13" Durabrand TV

I have an inexpensive "Prima" brand television that uses TV-0026. Candle, Citizen, and Goldstar also sometimes use this device code. Durabrand could be of the same pedigree.

I did a google search. Everyone is asking for the durabrand tv setup code, but no one knows it. For example, ecoustics.

Is there a wal-mart near you, Rob? (I'm thinking of that nefarious option where you bring in your learning remote and learn some codes from the store's durabrand remote)

What is the model number of that durabrand?

durabrand, made by memcorp, also makes memorex.

there is a memorex listing under TV in yahoo, Memorex with a warning about not attempting to look for codes the old fashioned way as you may destroy the tv set.

Back when this issue came up I called my local Walmart but they were out of them. I've stopped worrying about this because the person that asked for help isn't responding to my emails, so I'm not going to put myself out for them.
