@damir
thanks damir, i try it already out with no sucsess. I dont know, maybe i make mistake during restoring.
I open the ir.exe (5.05) chose dreambox v2, the go open (dremboxv2.txt) and click "upload to the remote" . The code are written to the RC, but i can not control the box with the RC.
If i sent the codes for the dreambox (v1) then i have partial sugses. So i think i follow the manual.
I compare the both hex codes, i discovered, that the version 2 codes does not have any protocol entrys unter ir.exe protocol. Maybe this is the reson for the error.
I checked my RC it a definatly a V2 (URC-39xxx)
Any suggestions?

What is the exact model number of your remote? All versions of Dreambox RC begin with URC-39. |

You have dreambox remote version 3.
I have one eprom image for that remote but I'm not quite sure it is correct.
I'll upload it to user configurations folder, try if it works.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jp1/files/User%20Configurations/URC-39730_B02-00.IR
IR will say it can't find RDF for that remote, which is OK because RDF for dreambox remote V3 is not made yet. |

damir, and other Dreambox users: You may be way ahead of this but I generated all 256 commands for the dreambox for someone with a Pronto TSU7000 in this thread. He has tested some of them and either discovered/confirmed some discrete commands or just catching up to where the OFA/JP1 guys are. But just in case there is anything new, I thought I would give you the link. _________________ -Jon |

His posts weren't exactly easy to follow, and I know nothing about the Dreambox. But what I think I understand is that the XML file he mentioned is controlling the Deambox (telling it how to respond to IR commands).
So he didn't discover or confirm any discrete commands. You and he created new discrete commands. You created Pronto hex and realated it to the number in the XML file and he edited the XML to make that number trigger a specific action in the Dreambox.
If I'm understanding all that correctly, someone in JP1 was already there. They can add new OBCs to a JP1 upgrade and they can edit the Dreamboc XML file to make those new OBCs mean something. |
