JP1 Remotes

I Have used JP1 for a while and I wanted to venture into Remote Master. But a have a problem trying toget it to run on my pc. I get Various errors of this type java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 4 I have tried unzipping and reinstalling. I also have run other java apps and they appear to work normally. Any help would be appreciated.

What version of the Java Run Time Environment are you using?

I never understood the details, but people have failed trying to use RM with Microsoft Java and with much older versions of Sun Java. It is expected to work only with fairly recent Sun Java.

Several of us have other applications that require some other Java version (Microsoft ) be the one registered with the OS. I've had no trouble unziping all the Sun Java files without registering any of it with the OS and setting up the startup for RemoteMaster to use that JRE rather than the one I'd get by double clicking a .jar file (on other computers I have recent Sun Java as the one for double clicking .jar files).

Thanks after going thru it again I once again prove my ability to skip over
the obvious. The rdf files I were trying to use were the wrong ones.
