Hi!
I have a URC-7562 learning remote with an homemade JP1 interface(works great).
I have got all my tvs, cdplayers etc to work flawless but one device is bugging me. That is my Force 320T, a terrestial digital tv receiver.
I have tried to learn this Force remote to my Ofa, sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. And IR.exe sais it is an unknowned protocol, and some buttons use jvc2. If I remember correct.
Strange...
I know that the remote from force is an "URC-?????" can't remember the digits..!
Does anyone have a device code for this device? Or how can I do one myself?

Do you have a fairly recent IR.EXE, and have you put the DecodeIR.dll file somewhere that IR.EXE can find it?
I suspect not, because the newer decoder greatly reduces the false decodes of JVC2.
I have data on only one model of Force DSS and it uses Proton protocol, device 8. |

If you have problems decoding signals in IR.EXE (such as unknown protocol, or inconsistent decodes) it's best to save an eeprom image (using the file/save command in IR.EXE) containing those learned signals, and upload it to the Yahoo JP1 group diagnosis folder.
If you just describe the problem we can only guess at the answer (as I did in my first reply). If you post the file, we can determine the answer. |

I have the dll version that is boundled with ir 5.02.
The dll version is 2.14 i think.
It is kind a hard for me at the moment to post the file, because
my isp is very lazy to give me a internet connection.. Will post asap!
Can only use internet on my work.
I have also noticed that some buttons can't be learned by my remote.
I don't know why, nothing happens when I press the learned button.
I appreciate the help you are giving me.
Best regard
Nico
PS. The Force remote is URC-39100B00 |

But still there is problem to learn sertain buttons...
I will post my eepromimage soon.

If it is the same Proton protocol, device 8 used by that other model of the same brand/device then you just need a few signals learned to confirm that. It would then be easier to get the rest of the commands from the CCF file using DecodeCCF.exe (which I already did).
I notice that the 7560 has a LOT of setup codes for SAT devices using Pronton protocol, and not one of those is in any way similar to the one in that CCF file. |

I used the device code found in groups/jp1 for another force device.
And it did work, but one key, the one who I tried to learn before, don't work until I have been in the force menu. Strange....
Any ideas?
