Hello newbie here.

Here is my situation. I have a new 9910 and have upgraded the code 0864 for the DVD/VCR via the phone with OFA. I am unable to get to the "SETUP" screen, on the unit itself. I am able to get to the display settings while the DVD is playing but not the "setup". This area is where you change the screen type, audio options, etc..... I have tried the keymover and added the advanced code for the "setup" button, but no luck. Has anyone figured this keystroke out, with the advanced codes? I am starting at the top and working my way down the list from 1-100?, but that takes for ever.... Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

What EFC number did you try for "setup" and what instructions did you use for doing a KeyMove of an advanced code?

I looked at RHM's info for this device and I think the EFC number for setup is 159.

The OBC numbers (not the numbers you need) for this device are documented here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/sony/Sony_vdcombo.htm

Notice the OBC for setup is 77.

The translation table OBC to EFC is documented here
http://www.hifi-remote.com/sony/Sony_efctable.htm

Notice the EFC for OBC 77 is 159
