Hi there...
I'm from the Netherlands, so my English is pretty numb...
I have a venturer dvd-homecinima- set... I've retrived a code by download, but I'm missing a whole lot of funtions I really need.
I have a urc 7562 (european model) I use the code 0790 to operate my DVD-set.
Does anybody know any advanced code's for this particular setup?
Again sorry for my poor English... Hope y'all understand my question... |

Do you have a JP1 cable? That would make investigating your question easier.
I can't find any data on DVD/0790 and I can't find and data on Venturer DVDs. But the Venturer DVD might be the same as some other brand I do have data on.
Did you get that downloaded setup code in the form of a .wav file?
If it is, you can email the .wav file to me (email address is in my profile here). I can extract the signals from the .wav file and then see if I have data on another brand whose signals match.
If you have a JP1 cable you can get that information from IR.EXE. Probably all I need is the protocol name and fixed data displayed for the device upgrade. |

Hi,tnx for the quick reply....
I do not have a JP1 cable, but I'm thinking of constucting one myself... especially if it turns out that there's no other way to get the codes...
I got the code by phone, so I don't have .wav file.... I called the client-service were they transmitted the specific .wav file to the build-in modem in my remote...
maybe you have some other suggestions.. If not I'll make myself a JP1 cable...
Thanx in advance...!!! |

Using a JP1 cable will greatly improve your ability to make your remote behave exactly the way you want it. So I don't want to discourage you from making one (by trying too hard to find another suggestion).
Anyway, I can't think of another place to look unless someone else provides some more information. Rob can usually find out what is in setup codes that the rest of us have never heard of. I have a very large collection of IR commands for DVD, so if Rob (or anyone) tells me what's in DVD/0790 I probably can find another brand with matching signals. But that help from Rob wouldn't be needed if you had the JP1 cable. |

That upgrade sure has a lot of functions. I assume you merged an advanced code list into an upgrade.
I do see other brands of that command set, but I guess at this point there's no need.
"bramdijks" can download KM or RM and open up that upgrade and read all the advanced codes he needs from the functions tab.
A JP1 cable is a good idea, but you don't need one to download and use the JP1 programs (including KM or RM) and the file Rob posted.
Actually you can read the advanced code numbers and function names right in that txt file if you just ignore the other stuff, for example it says the adsvanced code for "2.1 CH" is 073. |

That was a very quick and dirty file as I didn't have time to pretty it up. Most of the functions are not assigned to buttons yet and I didn't check for duplicate EFCs, which are usually present in UEI lists. _________________ Rob

OK, I just cleaned up the file and removed all the duplicate functions and assigned most of them to buttons. _________________ Rob
