First of all, thanks Rob. I recieved the "gift" Monday evening and have the 8910 set up for now in default mode. Practicing on one Mil4's. This birngs me to my question:
I downloaded the Samsung HTIB file for RM from Yahoo groups, when I open it in RM, it tells me that it cannot find a matching remote and asks me to pick a closest match to the 8910, I end up picking the 8910, seems to be a difference in the wording for the description.
Once I have the file opened, I changed the remote type to Mil4 and go to the fuctions tab to ensure that everything is mapped properly and low and behold, a whole bunch of functions aren't mapped. I map those functions to appropriate buttons, go to the output tab, copy the output.
In IR, I paste the output into the devices/new tab to get a new new device loaded but I end up with a device upgrade with about 8 key moves. Basically all the functions that I manually assigned and a couple more ended up as keymoves. Not good since by the time I am done with my macros, the memory is almost full.
Please help in directing my to the errors of my ways.
