X10 IR543 Problem Solved

I was trying out Rob's wonderful X10_Hacked protocol but kept having problems. After pressing a button on my remote, the red LED on my IR543 IR transceiver would sometimes stay on forever and wouldn't respond again until I cycled the power on it. Trying to determine what was going on, I found several posts elsewhere describing the same problem but no solution. Well eventually I tried simply moving the IR543 to another location, and all my problems went away! I haven't had a problem since. Originally the IR543 was on top of my receiver. Could have been the heat or electrical interference, don't know for sure, but now it works great.
