I would like to extract the codes from my current remote so that I can share with others; is this attempt even possible?
Thanks for any comment.
Is this possible?

If you mean extract the built in codes from the ROM, then no, that's not possible. If you mean extract upgrades that you've created and have loaded into the remote, then yes, but it would be easier to use your original KM or RM files.
What kind of sharing did you have in mind? Are there built in codes in your remote that are not in your friends remote? If so, tell us which codes and we might be able to find the info you need. If you know the brand and model number, check the file section, maybe there's a file there already.

Here is the information from the learne tab of the IR.exe:
***** Protocol Device OBC EFC
Menu = NEC1, 0 , 26, 247
VOL+ =NEC1, 0, 2, 183
VOL- = NEC1, 0, 3, 187
CH+ = NEC1, 0, 0, 181
CH- = NEC1, 0, 1, 185
DOWN = NEC1, 0, 67, 171
UP = NEC1, 0, 68, 164
I have done alot of reading regarding the KM and understand that we can create an ugrade or new one from the above information but I am really confused as to where to start. Please advise me where I can start from so I can get this project started.
Again, thank you.
