I'm looking for codes for the JVC AV-34WP84 (IArt widescreen HDTV set.) Many of the JVC codes in the files section do work, but a few buttons (particularly Multi-Pop and PIP Select) are missing or don't work quite right with this TV.
I have the TV's original remote, but don't have a learning remote.

I didn't see a pronto ccf file for your exact model so I think you will have to decode all the files that seem close with DecodeCCF to see the possible commands and try them. Here is a document that explains how to do that.
The other alternative is to try all 256 EFC's but that has the risk that you hit a manufacturer's reset on your display and require a factory service call.
It may also be worth trying to find a JP1 learning remote so you can determine what the commands are that you are missing.

Possibly, but you would have to find someone who knows how to read whatever output it creates. With Pronto CCF files and the output from JP1 learning remotes, we already have programs that will decode the output for us. Given that you could get a JP1 learning remote for just $19, it hardly seems worth spending too much time developing software for the UIRT.
