The only thing I could find anywhere was the "Strong Digital Satellite TV ZapBox" NEC1:128.119

IIRC, IR can't see the learning portion of your remote so I did a device upgrade

And here it is in case you want to give it a quick try:

Upgrade Code 0 = 07 CF (Cable/1999)
5A 00 FA FE C1 20 01 11 4F FF 7F BF DF 5F 9F EF
6F AF F7 67 C7 D7 CF 97 2F 3F A7 1F 8F 2F 0F B7
37 57 17
End

Just so we can rule out user error, could you load your IR.exe file into the Diagnosis Area for us to take a look at.

Then PLEASE...
1) Post a link to it, but first...
2) Read the sticky thread that explains how to post links to Yahoo files.

Assuming that it's not a case of user error, would you be willing to send your OEM remote to one of us so we can capture the signals and create an upgrade for it?

It's not a program or user error, two days ago i made a device upgrade for a daweoo dvd player and it work just fine. About sending you the remote, it's not so easy I live in Romania (Europe). Is it possible for me to capture the signal with a IR Dongle and eventualy to send the code to you, or maybe to create an upgrade by myself.

I don't know what an IR Dongle is, so I can't predict how useful it's output would be. Given your location, it's probably a good idea for you to get a JP1 learning remote, if for no other reason than to use it to decode IR signals. In Europe the main learning remotes are the URC-7560/7562 remotes. If they are too expensive, I can send you a URC-8811 for $19 plus $7 postage.

A IR Dongle is a infrared interface connected through a serial port to the computer, is like irda on notebooks. I try to read data from remote with RealTerm, but I couldn't get it work. By the way I've contacted Support Center for the remote, and they told me that I need code 0872 for my satellite receiver, but I didn't find this code, maybe you know how can I get it. About you sending me a remote, I don't know how I can pay here for it so I don't know what to say. If I don't have any other options I will contact you.

Thank you very much for your time and advices.

SAT/0872 is apparently NEC1:1

I added a device upgrade for SAT/0872.

Here is the upgrade to test directly:

Upgrade Code 0 = 17 50 (SAT/1872)
5A 21 70 DE C1 00 7F 7F 87 07 FF DF 5F 7F A7 BF
27 9F DF 5F 07 87
KeyMoves
0A F3 17 50 F7
End

That's good info, as you can see from Jon's reply that's usually all we need to know in order to provide you with an upgrade.

No pressure, if you want one I usually have some available. The way people from overseas by remotes from US based folks is by using Paypal. I've sent quite alot of remotes overseas. The problem is usually getting the US postal service to take the package, but once it's in transit there's not been any problems after that. here's an example of someone in England telling about the remote they bought from me.

I found several other device upgrades for Strong satellite receivers. They are all together in the zip file. You need to open them in KM and change the remote to the 8090b1 and give them a try.

Here's an upgrade you can try. I've created it in DAT mode rather than SAT mode, so I could include all the functions. If it works, you can download the KM file and rework it as you chose. (The transport keys select digital and analong radio and TV).

Upgrade Code 0 = E4 7A (DAT/1146)
5A 09 7E DE C0 3E C1 20 00 F0 F7 77 67 37 87 AF
7D B7 47 57 0F A7 BD 97 FD 4F 3D 17 2F 8F 77 F7
C7 07
End
