I have Java RTE installed ( IR.exe works fine)
I think that that file is txt file....
Not sure what you mean RemoteMaster
(Don't have my JP1 cable - yet that's why I like to use the buit in modem)

IR.exe doesn't use Java, but we can set aside the question of whether you have the right JRE until when/if you have a problem with RM.

I expect it is, but IRtoWav needs a .txt file that contains an eeprom image. You asked about an rmdu file, which could be saved and read as a txt file if you wanted to, but its contents are only useful to the RM (RemoteMaster) program.

WOW - it's working
NOW one last detail how do I initiate the uploading process to the 9910 remote ? (Tried plaing the upgrade file after selecting upgrade in the remotes menu but in ended in Error)
BTW the option convert file to wav. in File menu was disabled so I had to do this manually.

Got it !
I had to put both L&R speaker to the remote to upgrade !
Thanks for all your time folks !
Now I wish to find codes for my Sony TV
Always something ...
