JP1 Remotes

This remote looks nice... But appears to be OEM only. Anyone know:
1. If it is JP1 ready
2. If it is JP1 hackable (add EEPROM)
3. Where I can get one

That remote is made by Universal Remote, the same company who make the Home Theater Master series of remotes. It's not compatable with JP1, only remotes made by Universal Electronics are. As for where to get one, it looks like it was custom made by them for a Pace Digital Cable box, so I'm not sure if you could get one. You are right - how strange. That remote comes with some SciAtl Explorer 8000 boxes. SciAtl usually uses UEI remotes, and the design of the remote looks a lot like the UEI remote that came with my Explorer 8000.
