Entone Kamai Volume keys not working

Entone Kamai Volume keys not working

I have most all the functions on the Entone Kamai virtual remote working except the volume control keys. Does anyone know why?

Slingplayer 'hijacks' the Volume (and Mute) buttons and use them to control it's own volume. The commands are never sent to the device.
