I have two questions regarding this.
1) Do IR codes overlap for different devices? I use the right arrow and it works, but it also turns my IR LED strip lights to a light blue color. I didn't even program/learn that code for my LEDs.
2) Is there a way I can exit an App like Netflix or Amazon Prime? I can navigate in the app and launch an app, but it doesn't look like I can exit it.
Thanks in advance,

1) Rarely, but it does happen on occasion. I've heard about LED strip issues before. Sounds like you may have an older Nyko dongle that uses NEC codes. A newer dongle will use codes that don't overlap with your lights.
2) I have no idea which PS3 dongle you have. Some use Sony DVD codes, others NEC, others something entirely different. Each has a slightly different command set. I don't recall ever having any trouble exiting apps on my PS3 using a Nyko dongle (Sony DVD codes) or HDMI-CEC. Perhaps you can find a better answer in a PS3 forum. |

The newer Nyko uses Sony codes that won't affect your LEDs.
I would try red circle, blue x, left arrow or top menu to exit apps. I haven't used a PS3 in many years, so my I don't remember exactly. |
