I started writing some longer macros and noticed the 0.3 delay can add up if you have many commands in the macro, can I reduce this holding a remote aimed for 2-3 seconds seems silly... |

The changes that can be made are dependent on the remote model. |

You can change it to 0.1, but not to 0.0. |

I'll try it when I get home, though it seemed to keep switching back to .3 w/ a max of 10 seconds. |

Yes, every time you create a new macro, the default 0.3 applies and you have to set it to .1. |
