If you have found a discrete code that you would like to try and use in the Remote Central Discrete Code section, then you'll probably need to know how to use IRTool to decode them.
Here's the doc...

Rob,
Yet another fine addition to JP1 documentation!
You might want to add a link to the JP1|Files|Programs so a new user will know where to find IRTool. You might also add the language from the "How To" for DecodeCCF about installing the latest version of DecodeIR.dll
It might be a good idea to add your user guides with along with DecodeCCF.exe and IRTool.exe in two zip files that includes the respective program and documentation.

If it would be helpful, I'd be happy to add a documentation "where is it?" section to The WHAT and WHY of JP1 that would link directly all the various JP1 readme/how to documents.
If I did that, I'd also provide direct links for the associated tools, where applicable.
Don
edit: In retrospect, a separate index of both tools and documentation would likely be better than integrating it into The WHAT and WHY of JP1. But, my offer still stands.
