Question for users of the JP1.3 common extender

I've been chasing a problem with the Inteset 422-1 extender and the Pause protocol for a week or so and it has been reported to me that the Insignia extender may have the same problem (it uses the same code)

To others who are using the common extender V3.02 and greater (that have the interruptible pause) can you reply here (1) if you are using Pause and (2) if you are seeing the pause duration much, much shorter than you would expect.

thank you

(1) Yes and No. I didn't like interruptible too much, use an old looping protocol instead, but I did test it several months ago and seemed ok
(2) Not in 302 nor in 303 on Atlas OCAP 1056B01.
I just retested 2 and 5 sec pauses. Microseconds vary of course but hover around the coded expected values. Just one IRscope example:

Using interruptible pause with RS15-100 and RCRP05B -- the timing roughly works out to what RMIR displays. Working OK.

Also using the 'macro delay' option as my new 'smart' TV has some functions that are just miserably slow, remotes need to be throttled to not deliver IR pulses too fast. Other devices work ok without resorting to pauses.

I tried to get pause to work on the Atlas OCAP with the common extender and it wouldn't work at all. I documented my experience here. I ended up using version 2.11.

I am using pause with the RCRP05B and it seems to work fine.

I share the same experience with Ed, both negative with Atlas OCAP and positive with OARP05S.
