Thanks. Favourite was a different code so that should work. Text was correct, so maybe it was just a hangover from teletext days and isn't used any more.

Hi there;
I just downloaded the ANDOER DVBT2 bin and it fits almost perfectly for a similar device called FEELSTORE XA2 DVBT2 that I am having now. Working around with the remote I found some custom options that could make the FEELSTORE works 100%. They are:
Custom 10 = LAST
Custom 11 = INFO
Custom 15 = PAUSE
Custom 18 = BACKWARD
Custom 28 = FORWARD
I also wondering if it is possible to change the following actions thus:
From ANDOER:PAUSE= RECORD change to FEELSTORE on RECORDING KEY (Red )
From ANDOER: RECORDING KEY(Red)=Guide-EPG change to FEELSTORE on GUIDE KEY
I uploaded a picture in Slingbox work files showing the adjustments.
Thank you |

Are you saying those the codes programmed to Custom 10, etc for the Andoer perform the listed functions for the Feelstore, or are you saying those are unsupported functions that you would like added to those custom buttons? If it's the latter, we would need to know the codes for those functions. _________________ Rob

Thanks Rob for your answer.
Yes, I am saying that the custom functions of the ANDOER perform the listed functions for the FEELSTORE. So, I am looking for perform those functions pressing the respective buttons and not having to use the customs options. If that is possible, along with the other two adjustments requested, I think a new remote could emerge: FEELSTORE XA2 DVBT2
Thanks |

Thank you very much Alan:
It is almost perfect, there are only few things left I forgot:
1. GOTO(PVR function) performs on ANDOER with GUIDE button. Could you please set it to be used with BLUE button>
2. SUBTITLES performs on ANDOER with Custom 19. Could you please set it to be used with WHITE button?
3. SKIP BACKWARD and SKIP FORWARD do not have any function attached. I am wondering if SKIP BACKWARD could be set as TV/RADIO that performs with Custom 27 and SKIP FORWARD set as FAVORITES that performs with Custom 14.
Thanks again |

Done 1 & 2. Can't do 3. as there is a bug in the Slingbox System that means you cannot use those buttons.

What is the bug Al, I hadn't heard of that one before? _________________ Rob

On the default remote you have both Track +/- and Skip+- buttons. Unfortunately because of the way Sling have designed it, you cannot use both sets.
If you look at SKIN.XML under the PVR section you will see the 4 buttons are allocated to "id.remote.replay", "id.remote.skip", "id.remote.pvr.replay", "id.remote.pvr.skip". But in REMOTE.XML they allocated Code 30 & 31 to both sets of buttons, so one of the 2 sets finishes up disabled.
One of the main reasons why I designed a new skin, and in my REMOTE.XML I use Custom 20 (72) and Custom 21 (73) for the latter functions.
One interesting oddity which I haven't managed to explain yet is that if you use a PL BIN file then the Skip+/- are disabled, but if you use an RV BIN file the Track+/- buttons are disabled. Maybe the order in which the Codes 30 & 31 are allocated ? |

Interesting, and unfortunately, it doesn't sound like something that JP1 can fix for you, the fix would need to be in the Slingbox itself. _________________ Rob

It's actually very simple, in the same way that a few years ago Sling Media standardised on the codes for the colour buttons, they need to standardise on the codes for the new commands and allocate and then amend the REMOTE.XML file. I reckon it would take me about one minute to do that. But as you know from bitter experience Sling Media will never do anything like that. |

Is that file in a protected area, or ROM? Or could the end user potentially replace it themselves? _________________ Rob
