Hi all

A user across on the Slingbox forum has presented me with this table. Does anyone know how to convert it into Protocol, Device, OBC...

Thanks

Al

This appears to be for a Pace DC-621KU STB, which uses the Nokia32 protocol (dev 32, 192)

And the good news is, you have already created a bin for this
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=6872

How did I come up with that? I converted the large decimal number to hex, then broke the hex up onto four 2-char chunks, then converted each of those chunks back to decimal. Then, looked for JP1 upgrades that had the first 2 numbers as their first 2 device codes. The last of the 4 decimal numbers is the OBC. I found the Pace STB was a match, so I downloaded it and compared the OBCs and they matched too.

Example:
549463552 = large decimal
20 C0 26 00 = resulting hex
32, 192, 38, 0 = new decimals

Thanks Rob, that's great. I really must do some work and learn more about this stuff.

Cheers
