9. Partially working setup code? code 0054 works but discrete on and off efcs under that setup code do not work.

I'm looking for a discrete power on and power off, and discrete inputs for Magnavox tv model 29ME403V/F7. There is no work around from original remote. I think this tv is a toad. Thanks for the help.

When you say 0054, is that the built-in code, or some upgrade downloaded from here?

Assuming it's built in, discrete off should be RC5 device 0 OBC 61 and on should be device 0 OBC 63. The TV may also respond to RC6 protocol. Try this upgrade and see if any of the discretes in it work.

If it's one you downloaded, post the link, the code doesn't mean much.
