|
|
I've been asked to build a BIN file for a Technicolor STB: RC3254511. The user provided all the button codes, but unfortunately not the device code. The information was
Protocol: RC6 Mode 6A
RC6 OEM Long ID :805Ch
Am I right in assuming that the 805C hex means the device code is 128:92 or is it something else. (Later: Just realised that RC6 allows only a single device code so it can't be that)
Thanks
Al |

Here is the corresponding thread on the Sling forum, but no resolution as of yet
https://community.sling.com/thread/33083
Just FYI, my guess as to the device code would have been 106 (decimal of 6A). _________________ Rob

I think Alan sidelined that, since he has a RC5 technicolor box in the archives, which means that he didn't receive feedback. |

Like I said up top, there was no resolution to the issue on the Slingbox forum and yes, Alan did give up when the user stopped responding. I just posted that update here so we could see what happened to his unanswered JP1 question. _________________ Rob
