please be patient with me as this is my first time on this...i have an toshiba 46h83 with remote ct90159..i also have a motorola dct 2000 and i would like to operate the cable box with my toshiba remote..can this be done...thank you

rob,thanks for replying...i am not sure what a jp1 remote is...mine is a factory toshiba remote that i would like to contrl my cable box with , i tried 0479 as the code but it does nothing..

You somehow ended up in a forum where people discuss programming their JP1 remotes, if you don't even know what a JP1 remote is, you're probably in the wrong forum.
