Greetings to one & all Very Happy

I have just found yr site and I am very interested in programming my OFA URC 7544 via the PC. It does have the 6 pins in the battery compartment for this.

Can someone advice me where I can get the interface software as well as diagrams for the cabling?

As here in South Africa if u want to change yr remote u have to phone the head office and they then talk u through the settings - most inconvienient Sad

and if there r any more features hidden in the remote - don't be shy

So I'll realy appreciate some help

thanks

Its generally considered good form to do some reading before asking such basic questions.

I just tried all the links and they appear to work fine for me.

Thanks Mark

I managed to download 2 zip files: RemoteMaster.v0.95.zip / keymap-master.zip.

however when I tried to unzip the keymap-master.zip Winzip gave this error.
"Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive. If you downloaded this file, try downloading it again"
I'll try again in the early morning when traffic is not so heavy.

I also need to download the java files this will take +- 2.5hrs

thanks for yr help

Yahoo (where the majority of these files are hosted) is notorious for trying to control bandwidth by a variety of means when it is busy. Whilst your ISP may be less busy in your early am, Yahoo in North America is probably at its busiest. You also want to try at your local noon, you may find it better.

Good luck

Thanks Rickety

I must say that this site also loads extremely slow compared to other sites. Just to get 1 page loaded it can take several minutes. Where as other pages from other sites pop up almost immediately.

I think I'll get my friend to download the files he has a adsl or something like that, I'll forward the links to him.

thanks for all yr help
