Hi All,

I'm a longtime occasional JP1 user going back to 2004. By occasional, I mean that I tend to dive back in an relearn everything every couple of years as my HT evolves. Currently, I've got an aging 8811 with no upgrade or extender set up with 8 macros, that very effectively turns on and configures my HT from an off/on/mixed state with a single button press for a series of activities. It's extremely wife and kids-friendly.

I've ordered a 6440 from a UK eBay seller, and would like to develop something similar on that remote when it arrives. I'll install the Extender, I've already read the PDF a few times and have a sense of what it'll do.

I'd like to take advantage of my previous work and "evolve" my old 8811 .rmir files if possible, so that I don't have to start from scratch. Is that possible?

Many thanks,

Tom
