I learned all the signals from the remote that came with CMX Android Box using RCRP05B. IR file has been uploaded to http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=12946
I'd like to convert it to device upgrade format, so I can use it with extender. But IR/RM are unable to decode the protocol. Would appreciate if someone can help me doing that.

Never mind
Never mind, I just realized that my learned keys do not work. Searched file section and found upgrade for MX2 at http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=12402. Which worked with my box as well.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Just so you know why the learns don't work: The Matricom box uses the NEC1 IR protocol which implements repeats using "dittoes". That means it sends the actual signal just once, and then a simple pattern repeatedly. This repeated pattern is the same for all functions.
All of the learns you posted contain only the dittoes, and none of the actual information-containing signal. When I have that problem, it is because I have either pressed the button on the OEM remote too soon or had to move the two remotes in order to get the learning remote to start recognizing the IR. Since all of your learns missed the beginning of the IR transmission, I suspect that you need to first press the button on the RCRP05B, wait a second, and then press the button on the OEM remote. This generally happens naturally for me while I fumble with the remotes!
