Okay, I have two different remotes besides the comcast URC-1067
They program just fine.
So, I'm not sure what i am doing wrong. This is the first time i am programming a jp1.3 remote. My others are jp1.2
In IR.EXE, i tell it to upload to remote. Remote blinks once at beginning and blinks twice when finished. I get NO errors. It appears to write, HOWEVER, nothing is working. None of the buttons are working.
Any thoughts? _________________ Remote : URC-7780 & URC-10820N |

Post the IR file so we can see/test it on our end.
I have a sneaking suspicion that you are trying to load a URC 1067 upgrades into the 1067BX3 remote. But it would be much easier to diagnose with the actual files. |

Upload the file to the diagnosis area and then post a link to the file here. |

The first thing I see is that you didn't start from a download of the 1067BX3, you started with a "New Image"
That can lead to all sorts of problems.
The first problem is that your phantom dev3 is set to an invalid value. So as soon as you press the "all On"button, the remote is going to do a reset.
Look at the general tab, Dev3 is red, Use the device picker to set it to a valid value. |

I don't understand why there is a dev3. The remote only has Cable/TV and Aux. So, what device should i set it too? Not used to seeing this on my two existing remotes. _________________ Remote : URC-7780 & URC-10820N |

How else do you do it if not create a new image and select your remote? _________________ Remote : URC-7780 & URC-10820N |

Yea, well, prompted by your message, i checked if there were any files for this remote. I found a new RDF that had the buzz word, fixes problem with creating new image to allow it to work. Sure enough, i overwrote the RDF file and it worked!

Dev3 is a phantom device. That means this remote was firmware was designed to be a 4 device remote.

I always start a "new" ir file by downloading from a remote. That is a habit that kept me out of all sorts of trouble.
Glad you got this sorted out!
