Onn DVR (PVR) and GRUNDIG Freesat codes needed for Slingbox

I am trying to get the binary code files (BIN) so I control two boxes I have connected to a Slingbox Pro-HD box via the slingbox interface. Slingbox currently don't support either box.
The first is a a DVR brought from Asda
ONN LEDSTBO705. This box was made by a Turkish company called Vestel and was the same has their Vestel T816 - None of the codes tried on this site have worked so far.
The second is a GRUNDIG Freesat Box GUFSAT02SD
I have both remotes and also a replacement remote for the Onn box. This remote was made by inoBrand and has the number RM4035 on it.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

I pointed the OP to this site in
a thread at Remote Central.
terry.idle, I asked you to try a bin file for the Vestal box, using the instructions in the readme, and to report the results of the testing here. However, that Hitachi zip file is pretty old and doesn't include these questions:
1. Was there any error message after you typed in the Code and tapped the Test button ?
2. Have you tried both the BIN files ?
3. If you are using the external IR Blaster have you used a Digital Camera (Mobile Phone) to confirm the IR Blaster is actually firing when you tap the Power button ? Watch the tip of the IR Blaster through the viewfinder while you tap a button. You should see a white (not red) flash. Practice on a real remote so you know what you are looking for.
4. Have you experimented with the placement of the IR Blaster ? On some devices this is critical so don't give up too quickly.
5. Are you sure the device is working correctly using the real remote ?
You'll note that to answer the first two questions, it is necessary for you (rather than Slingbox support) to carry out the testing.
BTW, I'm not a Slingbox expert. Alan Richey handles most of the Slingbox issues.
For the experts here: This
T816 page lists a variety of brands/models. We have Slingbox files for several of these, and they all use RC5, device 8 with the nearly all the same OBCs. So I would guess that even the OP's box should use the same codes.

OK, the Grundig box uses the same codes as this one:

There was no sign of that Vestel box in the Harmony database but it did recommend the Vestel DT-8001, but that did not have DVR controls. But it does use RC5 8, so working on the principle that Vestel use that for all their boxes this Goodman one should work ?

Firstly thanks to you both. I will systematically go through each of your points and hopefully get a working system. I am surprised that a forum like this has to support so many Slingbox users. You seem to be doing the support for them.
I really appreciate your help and I am sorry that I have not followed the instructions properly, but I am very inexperienced at this. I will also only post on this site from now on. I will let you both know the results.
Thanks again

I have managed to get the Grundig Freesat remote working. Thanks for all your support. I will now try to get the Onn box working.

It should work

I was led astray by all the talk of Vestal and T816. Never thought to check for the ONN LEDSTBO705, but it was there in the database. And the codes we assumed are correct.

A big thank you to both Alan and 3FG. I have now got remotes working for both boxes. 3FG you were right - part of the problem for one of the controls was that the IR repeater was not placed correctly.
I think you should charge Slingbox for all the support you give them you are both brilliant.
I am now flushed with success and will try to get a remote built that looks more like the one we use than the Slingbox default one.
Thanks again

Thanks for the feedback, I'll upload them under the new devices. If you can find a remote image that Sling have already produced it is relatively easy to link it to the BIN files. Designing your own is not trivial but possible.
