JP1 Remotes

i am recieving a clear NSTC/QAM 64/256 signal and currently have an Aurora VPH-100 tuner. unfortunately, i cannot find the Bin files for the tuner. Does anyone know of a tuner that i can purchase that already has the Bin Files or can someone help me capture the bin files for my tuner?

I have 5 locations where i need slingboxes.

I would normally help by installing that device onto my Harmony Remote and using it to mimic the original remote to analyse the codes. Unfortunately that box is not on the Logitech database.

If you go to http://support.slingbox.com/get/KB-5000164 you can find out what devices are directly supported by Sling media.

And if you go to http://www.logitech.com/harmony/components you will see the list of devices supported by Logitech, which means I can probably build a BIN file.

If you can find a partially working signal, we can always start from there.
This involves lots of work on both sides of the internet though.

We can identify signal patterns if you have a partially working code in a cable remote (Comcast, TimeWarner, Cox etc) , or a slingbox file.

Or if Aurora can give you tech specs on the IR signals we can work from there.

@alanrichey - I have been searching from the Slinbox database and from the bin files located on this forum for a QAM/NTSC tuner that i can purchase but am not having any luck. I will keep searching. Also will search the Logitech database you provided. Will let you know if i find a device. Thanks for your help!

As we said before.

a. Buy a new supported box
b. Buy a box on the supported list for the Logitech Harmony.
c. Get Aurora to provide the codes

or

c. If you know anyone with a Logitech Harmony remote that would help me
d. Post the remote to me (in the UK)

aurora gave me this file of hexadecimal ir codes for the tuner. They state that they are in the same format as phillips. They apparently used a Phillips pronto.
Can you do anything with this?

Yes, they decode as Nec1 Device 0 and there is nothing special about the frequency.

I see that you are using IRScrutinizier. I used IRScope to confirm.
You can Import them one at a time into IRScope but you can import them all from the clipboard in IRScrutinizer but these are so dirty with "" s and missing spaces that they didn't import well for me.
