Well, possibly Vicky did it with lots of sweat... But there is also an easy way with IrScrutinizer and RemoteMaster.

Mark the codes and copy to the clipboard. Start IrScrutinizer and select Import -> Text -> Raw. We are to import a number of lines starting with a name in column 1, and the code in subsequenct columns. Therefore, select "1" as Name col., and "2" as Raw signal col. Let "... and subsequent columns" be selected, since the code continues after column 2. Press "Load from clipboard", The tree widget should now be populated with a number of signals. Press "Import all" and go to the "scrutinize remote" panel, e.g. by clicking Ok on the following pop-up. We see all the signals decoded here -- with the exception of the ones with a two word name, where the parsing failed, since original author did not care to produce machine parseble text. For this, go back to Import -> Text -> Raw. To import the two-word commands, select "2" for "Name col." and "3" for "Raw signal col.", and leave "... and subsequent." selected. Press "Load from clipboard" again. Note that now the first word is ignored, but the import of the two word commands has otherwise succeded. Press "Import all" and go to "Scrutinize remote" again. All signals there, but the named of the two two-word commands slightly mutilated. Go to the "Export" pane, select the "Girr" format, and let "Parameters" be checked. Press "Export param. remote", and save to a file anywhere. (Popups asking for manufacturer etc can be cancelled.) Install and open RemoteMaster with Girr import. Select File -> Import Girr file, and select the file just created. Select (e.g.) Aiwa as executer in the next popup. Finished.

With the exception of a few mutilated names, everything is there, device- and subdevice number inclusive.

And you are right, I did do it the one key at a time method. I was on irscrutinizer 0.1.0, so I updated.

There is not a "0-" next to the <clipboard> there is just a page with the corner turned down.

Is there any kind of error log we can get to see what is happening? I can't even get any value to import this way.

It was not intuitive, but it is very powerful.

Now, that I got this raw remote visible, is there a way to isolate the OBC into a column for pasting into remote master? I can and will manipulate that into a spreadsheet, but I want to make sure I'm not missing any other features.

This is very complicated software.

Sounds slightly wrong; you click "Load from clipboard", then the node under Remotes occurs and can be opened. There is no "again". If you hoover the mouse over one of the commands, you will see that the decoding has already taken place.

I do not think it is that bad, for example in comparision with MS Office. I react on constructive suggestions, as you probably know by now. Possibly it would be a good idea to open the node automatically?

I recommended "Import all", not "Import all/raw". If you did this, you will find the answer yourself.

whereas the real smart way is that what I described above: export to a Girr-file, and import it with the improved RemoteMaster. Not the tedious and error prone clipboard again...

This is very complicated software.

You have to view it in comparison to the problem it solves. Importing the stuff in Excel, restoring the structure is not simpler. And, let me guess, copying and pasting the individual signals took at least 10 (boring) minutes, and is pretty error prone.

Why is the problem hard? Since the posters etc obviously has no concept of structured documents.
