Does anyone know if the URC-8820-MOTO (Cox) Remote is a 2.0x protocol and if so does it take the RMIR program to read and write to it ??
I have downloaded the current RMIR file and RDF with the current URC-8820BC1 (253602), but when I go to download it gives me: (No RDF matches signature starting)
I have read that this remote is a 2.0x protocol ??
Thanks for any help !!

Well, I answered this the last time you asked. It is a JP2 remote and you do need RMIR 2.02a or later. Since it isn't working, lets get some information.
Do a 983 signature blink back. It will probably display 5 of the 6 digits 25360. But if it doesn't then it may be a different remote. After you try to download, find the rmaster.err file, and place it in the Diagnostic area. Post the link to it here. What interface cable are you using? |

I did the 983 signature blink back test and if gave me 2537 which is a digit up from the 2536x file im using .....I have not found any other .rfd files for this remote.
I'm using Tommy's 5 Pin Adapter Cable with his new style JP1.2,1.3 , 2.0 Interface.
When I go to download, my transmit and receive lights are flashing but then reads: (No Remote Found)
Could not find no master.err file ??
Im running the RMIR v2.02 _________________ Please visit our web site at: txsat.net |
