Hi,
I hope this is the right place, because I don't really know how to phrase this question.
I just got a playstation2 and I don't want to spend the $14 for its remote.
I have used keymap master and IR to create device codes, etc.
I'm wondering if there exists somewhere a device on a keymap master xls that i can get on my remote so i can use the DVD on the PS2 without shelling out any more money.

Umm, it doesn't look like you tried too hard. As the Code Search FAQ says -- look in the Yahoo Group. There are two upgrades here that are for the PS2. I imagine one of them will work for you. Give them a try ... |

Also, I believe that you have to at least buy the remote control attachment for any remote to work it. _________________ Rob

Thanks guys.
I actually did a lot search and reading. This remote confuses me a lot. Most of the time I see stuff that I don't even know what I'm looking at.
I'm getting better thanks to kind people like you.
Cheers
p.s. I have a wireless controller that comes with a ir receiver. |

If you have the IR receiver, you should be able to use the built in RCA DVD code to control the PS2 (ie, DVD/0522) _________________ Rob
