The installation instructions are a bit out of date so use these: http://placeshiftingenthusiasts.com/how ... 0-and-350/

and use just the PL.BIN file.

If you have a problem make sure you read the rest of the Readme file.

I did try the PL.BIN file but no luck and I did try many different codes because I think it it a UEC box

The instructions clearly state:

"...If you have problems please do NOT just report back it 'doesn't work', that is totally useless for someone trying to understand what is going on. So please report the following:...."

Al I want is a remote code which I can use with my slingbox 500 so I can change channels while I am overseas otherwise it stays on one channel

Maybe there is a remote different brand which would work with this satellite receiver
I wrote to UEC SA but they did not respond so that is my main concern when I travel
I can get picture ok but can't change channels because off the remote

I'm sorry, but I don't understand why you are refusing to answer the questions in the ReadMe file ? In particular, of you haven't tested the external blaster and made sure the box is transmitting an IR Signal then you are wasting your time trying to find a remote.
