Hello all and thanks for reading.
I am still very green when it comes to JP1 but find it quite addictive
and after finding an old URC-7541 remote behind the "Wicker Whatnot" I
decided to try and extend my learning by trying to build the JP1 eeprom
interface using the Arduino 2560 here (using the appropriate SCL, SDA pins for this model)

Using IR version
Code: |
Remote Control Programmer
Version 8.04
Learned Signal Decoder: DecodeIR (Version: 2.41)
ExchangeIR Version: 0.08
JP12Serial Driver Version: 0.16
|
I get :-
Quote: |
Failed to open JP1.x interface.

However when I follow one of Tommy Tylers fantastic documents here using Realterm

I get this response back in the terminal

and if I press "d" , I get all the eeprom contents.
I feel that I am quite close to using this interface but something is eluding me "RTS" possibly?
I have also tried RMIR 2.02a with no success in finding the remote.

Thanks in advance for any pointers/suggestions |
