Can't work out how to link to the file, search for: One4All URC-8308

I'm not sure if this is the best way, but my method of finding my link is to click on the "File Section" Link at the top of the page, and the newest files for the category are there for clicking. If I am looking for something earlier, I do a file search on my author's name.

Here is a link to your file.

Hello many thanks it is 100% better then my attempt to link to a file.
Apologise for the bodge

Many thanks for the sound file very nice of you, I tried it a few ways but still KeyMagic / Move don’t work, I suspect it’s me I did look at the link but did not understand how to load the sound file because using the 997 other it overwrites my codes and still doesn’t not keymove on the device which is already in the remote.
Can you please explain the procedure for dummies then you should be on my level!

1) Upload the WAV file using 997
2) Change to TV device mode
3) Assign setup code 1107 to TV
4) Press Ch+

When you press Ch+, the fix should occur. Now you can check if keymoves work.

That was nice and straightforward but still have problems I will tell you what I tried.
(1) 997 KeyMove fix play the WAV file as normal remote Blink once when it finished
(2) Still went ahead device set 1107 to TV Blink once then hit ch+
After still no key copy or KeyMagic / keyMove.
(3) 997 my equipment file Blink Twice when finished
(4) cheeked to see the devices were in successfully they were
(5) 997 KeyMove fix play the WAV file remote Blink once when it finished
At this point it had erased my device files
(6) Went ahead device set 1107 to TV Blink once then hit ch+
After still no key copy or KeyMagic / keyMove.

So the question if you haven’t lost your rag with me yet should it Blink /Flash twice after the fix file and the TV 1107 code, I would of thought the answer would have been yes to both

Yes, it should have blinked twice after the WAV upload, and if the upgrade had been installed correctly, then it should have blinked twice after assigning 1107.

So I've made a mistake somewhere. I try to find it.

Any rattle in the remote?

What kind of speakers to you have on your PC?

How are the batteries on the remote? For the keymove repair operation, it is extremely important that you have proper voltage.

So far I haven't found anything wrong with the WAV file. One possible issue is that the UEI WAV files for HCS08 remotes may (I'm not sure) be erasing the entire memory area associated with upgrades and learned signals, before writing the new data from the WAV file.

If that's true, the checksum may be incorrect since our WAV files don't do this possible erasure in the same way. Are you willing to do a 981 style reset of the remote, and then try the WAV file again? If you have learned signals or macros, the reset would wipe those out, and that might be a pain. So I'll certainly understand if you don't want to try it.

It was a new remote? I'm confused. Here's what I thought has happened: First, you have used a UEI supplied WAV file to program the remote, and that programming was successful. You then tried the WAV file which is intended to fix the keymove problem. That WAV file gave only 1 blink but did remove the programming installed by the UEI Wav file. You then subsequently reloaded the UEI WAV file successfully. Subsequent attempts with the fix WAV file have also been unsuccessful.

Is that sequence correct? If not, what have you done?

I uploaded a revised WAV file, which explicitly erases the upgrade area and part of the learned area, so that it mimics approach taken by UEI generated files. Please give it a try. If it doesn't work, we still have one more possibility variation on the WAV files to try.

Following Vicky's suggestion, have you checked the batteries?
