Vicky actualley my TV is model PN58c500 I believe it to be the same as the PN58c550 minus the wireless.
The doc. you link to say's the c550 has HDMI4 however the c540 does'nt have HDMI4 I think my c500 is like the c540 where they only have 3 HDMI ports.
I only use one HDMI port of the TV HDMI2 (which is recommended by Samsung).
Not sure if this applies but I have the Mag. (the external tuner) connected to the AVR's HDMI4.
I read the whole page 26 the word swap was never mentioned.
will JP1 programming provide the swap capabitity?
I will continue the research and post up the results.
Thanks TB |

Dave I hate to differ w/ an expert like yourself on AV issuses
however I believe you are incorect my friend, the TV doe's in fact have PIP. just not a swap that I have figured out yet.
The model I have the PN58C500 is the same as the 550 that Vicky linked to
.
The Magnavox doe'nt have PIP. it's simply used as a external tuner.
Read the second review here, the reviewer states this TV requires a coax connection for PIP to work so maybe the HDMI cable I'm using won't allow the swap picture function?

Edit you'r link is'nt working.

Can't argue with results. If it works, it works. It's just not in the manual or on the remote (according to the manual). |
