How to use dev0 , dev1, dev6 and dev7 buttons?
These buttons are initially assigned to default macros.
However, to use a macro directly you must assign it to a real (or shifted real) button.
If these buttons aren’t assigned to a macro can they be used in upgrades to assign functions such as discrete codes that are used in macros and key moves?

Yes. There is no need to assign them in order to use them in other macros and key moves.
