The wife gave me an RS-2116 8 in one remote last Christmas and I have successfully programmed my Tivo, XM Radio, TV, Bose Lifestyle system, X10, etc. I thought I had this thing licked, but I don't understand why I can't get my favorite channels to scan when I press the FAV / SCAN button!
I followed the directions exactly as defined in the remote manual, but when I press the button it retrieves the last channel only. When I check out what gets downloaded from the remote to the IR application everything looks correct, but still nothing. I have successfully programmed some simple macros, so I get the hang of building and defining the list.
Any thoughts? I even figured out how to shift keys, but I simply can't figure this one out.
