Dubai slingbox remote
Thank you Alan Richey, it works a treat
I did change the bin file name to CL2010_JB as my slingbox is European solo and I read somewhere that the JB was required. however, it may have worked without the change but I do not want to change anything now as all is good, thanks a million...John

In theory it should NOT have worked. You should never change the name of a BIN file as the code is held within the Binary as well. I am guessing that you got away with it becasue you left the 2010 intact and still included a 'C'.
And for future reference you also have your logic totally wrong, you should never believe what you read unless it is on this forum
The _PL suffix works with ALL Slingboxes except early European ones (Solo, AV & Classic) which require an _RV extension. The PL & JB chipsets use identical codes, which is why we don't bother issuing _JB ones.
