|

Guys, I've looked everywhere and I cant find the code for this model (humax sh26 - sky hdtv brazil)..
Tried all possible codes in slingbox, still can't make it work.
Can anyone point out where i can find such code or even make one (I'm new at this and don't know much).
I'd really appreciate any help
Thanks |

1. Was there any error message after you typed in the Code and tapped the Power button ?
No.No error whatsoever
2. Did you give the Power command plenty of time to react ? (I have a DVR that takes about 6-8 seconds to power up/down)
Yes, i have.
3. After completing the setup (regardless of whether the Power button worked) do any of the other buttons work ?
None of the buttons work. Not even the led in the decoder blinks.
4. Have you used a Digital Camera to confirm the IR Blaster is actually firing when you tap the Power button ? (Watch the tip of the IR Blaster thorugh the viewfinder while you tap a button. You should see a white (not red) flash)
Yep. the IR blaster is firing a white flash.
5. Have you experimented with the placement of the IR Blaster ? On some devices this is critical so don't give up too quickly.
yep, still nothing. |

thanks brandaogu for following the readme instructions and providing complete details, I know Alan will appreciate it. Unfortunately, you may be out of luck unless we can find some info on the signals that this devices uses. _________________ Rob

I could not find any information on the Humax HR26 either. My only suggestion would be to give this one a try, but I doubt it will work.

EDIT:
I have a little more confidence in my pick. Both of these units use the Directv 12.3 code. If this code works at all, we can recheck the functions.
