Azbox Moozca Bravissimo HD - satellite tv receiver

Post by fernandoavc »

I've bought a satellite tv receiver (Azbox Moozca Bravissimo HD) and I was searching all across the internet and wasn't able to find a compatible to Slingbox binary file so far... as I own a harmony remote I was wondering if is possible to dump the configuration I did syncing the commands to something I could import on Slingbox... it doesn't need to be the whole but at least channel up and down is a must...

I appreciate any help you guys specialist can provide cause I am totally new to this and have no idea how to start it... tyvm.

fernando, the way we utilize the harmony is to capture the IR codes with an IR Widget. If you tell us which model you picked from the Harmony Database, I'll bet someone with a harmony and widget will do the work for you.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Hey thank you very much for your reply!

In fact I wasn't able to find a compatible remote in the Logitech Harmony library database... I had to build it from the zero capturing each of the commands one by one til I have a completelly custom remote... that's my point... if is there any possible way to capture all this set up that I did to some kind of binary useable in Slingbox custom remote... that will be a dream coming true...

Oh, I had juts located the AZBox Bravissimo Twin in the Harmony database and thought that might have worked.

I assume you tried you try the various AZBox Bins in our file section.

I don't know if we can get your learns from harmony.

We'll have to wait to see what alan has up his sleeve.

Wow are you serious you've found a match for Bravissimo Twin?! I though I did all I could omg... I will need to check back on this cuz I didn't found any remote there when I did a seach...

I saw some topics and Alan really seems to be a magician in that azbox topic :)

I tried some models such Azbox Premium (that works like a charm in my Azbox Premium HD Plus box) and an azbox Bravoo but both didn't worked to the Bravissimo (Moozca and Twin are the same box) ...

I am outside my home now but I will go to the myharmony.com again to check twice if I really missed the Bravissimo Twin remote on the library.

Thanks again Vicky!

*** EDIT: I've found at myharmony.com database the model I need... is this one you mentioned Vicky the AZBOX BRAVISSIMO TWIN how can I get the IR Widget?

You can usually order a widget from Tommy Tyler. However, last I heard his store was closed while he's waiting for parts. The widget is so cool.

I captured the values for you. An RDMU is here.

Using RemoteMaster, you can create your own BIN files from the RDMU file. That way you can assign the buttons the way you want them.

Well I'm bored, so I created the Bins too.

I used a standard NEC1 protocol. Sometimes with slingbox we need to use a special non-repeating NEC1 protocol. So we may need to adjust this further.

Its been a pleasure working with someone who follows up with feedback.

You've already done it. The "currency" here is feedback. Its fun solving problems, but aggravating if you never get the satisfaction of knowing it worked. You'd be surprised how many of people don't let us know if our solution worked.

I'm glad it worked!
