Hello everyone,

I am having some problems adding an LTV decoder. I know that none of you have heard of an LTV decoder before. It’s a local channel decoder for Cyprus.

I have tried using the ir widget with ir scope to capture the commands but I get unrecognized protocol.

I have read the IRScope and IR Widget User’s Guide and I saw that you can import Pronto Hex codes. Since I own a Pronto device I have already captured all the commands. But when I try to import the captured hex codes I get protocol Humax 4Phase Device 15.0 and OBC 46. I am using IRScope v2.01a with DecodeIR v2.44, ExchangeIR v0.08, MakeHex v0.03

Heres a sample of the captured hex codes using Pronto:

0000 004A 0000 0014 000C 0018 000C 0012 0012 000C 0006 001E 000C 000C 000C 000C 000C 0012 0006 0012 0012 001E 0006 145A 000C 0018 000C 0012 0012 000C 0006 001E 000C 000C 000C 0012 0006 0012 0006 0012 0012 001E 0006 071C

The problem is that when I try to create the new bin file using RemoteMaster I can’t find the protocol in the list.

I would appreciate the help on this.

Thank you.

This is a new protocol that I haven't seen before, so to move forward we would need to see a complete set of learns. If you have a Pronto, it would be OK to post the CCF file.

This is a relatively new protocol for us, but it is included in the distribution of RMIR Beta 1.5v. Follow the instructions in the linked post, because it is a 2 step installation. Then you should be able to use your decode to make an upgrade.

Rob, Humax 4Phase is the name I chose for this IR protocol.

Obviously, we can't check your work without seeing your files. So my suggestion would be to zip them all together and post them so we can see them. We would want to see (a) the ICT file, (b) the RMDU file and (c) the bin file.
