My DVD remote has a USB button on it which toggles between a usb drive and an inserted dvd.  I have been looking tirelessly for this JP1 EFC code so that I can program it to random unused button on my Comcast remote, but to no avail.

You needed to look for usb. OBC stands for original button code. Sometimes, there are different executors (subroutines) that send the code in different remotes. If so we need to use a tool, like RemoteMaster to translate the OBC to a new EFC for the next executor. In this case no translation was needed.panda4ducky wrote:what does OBC stand for??
